The food here was a highlight, especially the breakfast options. I enjoyed a hearty full English, cooked perfectly. The staff offered a warm welcome, and the atmosphere felt inviting. the room I stayed in was quite cramped with limited space. The en suite bathroom felt squeezed, and maneuvering around the shower and sink was a challenge. I found the temperature control in the shower inconsistent, which made for a less than ideal experience. Access to the room via an external metal staircase wasn't too convenient, especially in poor weather. delicious meals but the room left much to be desired.

Some rooms suffer from noise issues from road traffic!!! Small room sizes lead to cramped living situations!!! Unpleasant plumbing problems detract from overall comfort!!! Temperature regulation remains inconsistent!!! Access difficulties due to external staircases are a concern!!!

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Double Room. The staff were super welcoming, and the bar had a lovely vibe. Breakfast was good, and I enjoyed the evening meals at the pub. Clean, spacious room with friendly service all around. 😊

Solo traveler delight
The staff was super cute, they even let us drop off our luggage early, did I mention the food? Had a lush breakfast cooked just for us! That smoked salmon and scrambled eggs? Pure bliss!
Not exactly cheap, but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Charming pub, attentive staff, with a wonderfully clean and well-presented room featuring excellent amenities like wi-fi and a lovely bar area to unwind after a day of exploring.

Great breakfast and clean rooms
I had a lovely stay during my work trip, with a comfortable room and a breakfast that included a delicious full English. The welcoming staff made a real difference, especially after my late arrival. The only downside was the thin walls, which made it a bit noisy at times due to plumbing and voices.
